Larritha co-founded OfficeStar with Paul Farmer in 2002. Born and raised in Watsonville, Larritha also owns the DataWest Group, which offers MAS 90 and MAS 200 Accounting software and support.
Alex helps ensure your delight with your OfficeStar experience by overseeing all of our instructors and facilities. A man of many talents and great humility, Alex has an informal student fan club.
Kate wears many hats at OfficeStar: she handles student enrollments, helps Alex with all those "behind the scenes" tasks that keep things running smoothly, and teaches the Medical Assistant program. We may need to get a bigger closet for her.
Jose teaches career retraining programs as well as one-day classes for our business clients. A certified Microsoft Master, Jose's patience has been described as "zen-like."
As far as our students are concerned, Ed is the best thing to come along since microchips! His wealth of knowledge about all things "techie" and his skills as an instructor made him an instant favorite. Now, if we could just upgrade him to Humor 1.0...
Every workday, Rose descends from her home in the mountains of Santa Cruz to help run our Santa Cruz office. She is a gifted teacher who knows how to adjust her instructional methods to fit students' different learning styles.
A man of many talents, Mauricio teaches Microsoft Office Professional. A long-standing Office wizard, his extensive repertoire also, includes Visio, Adobe CS6, QuickBooks, InDesign, and Ballroom Dancing. Okay, the dancing isn't at OfficeStar, but the rest is.
The world is blessed to have Paula in it, and we're doubly-fortunate to have her on our team. She's a rare mix of creative artistry (she's a professional graphic designer) and technical wizardry (she teaches many of our advanced classes, including VBA).
Cora is one of the rocks that creates OfficeStar's solid foundation. Cora helps solve your invoicing questions and much more. If there were awards for attention to detail, she'd definitely win one!
